She was born November 13, 1904, the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Gerth Megel here in Jennings County.   She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Four Corners.

Survivors include five sisters, Rosena Megel, Indianapolis; Mary Kohls, Cincinnati; Victoria Winter, Dayton; Sister Laura, Sisters of Holy Spirit of Chicago; and Anne Heuerman, Cincinnati; and one brother, John Megel, Route 4.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Four Corners, Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Father James Arneson officiating.   Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.   The rosary will be prayed Friday evening at the Diekhoff and Vance Mortuary.
