Ambrose Peter Speck

Born: December 17, 1886     Died: November 2, 1949

Ambrose Speck, 62 years old, of Seymour, died in Schneck Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, November 2.   Funeral Services were held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour, Saturday, with the Reverend James Moriarty in charge.   Burial took place in Riverview Cemetery.

He was born in Jennings County December 17, 1886 the son of Peter and Margaret Megel Speck, both of whom preceded him in death.   He was married in Seymour, August 8, 1911, to Miss Rosie Hauersperger, who survives.   He also is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Von C. Weddle of New Albany and Mrs. Charles N. Graham of Columbus, Ohio; and three grandchildren; also by three brothers, Otto Speck, of Perry, Iowa, Leo Speck of Hayden, and Amore Speck of Dayton, Kentucky, one sister, Mrs. George A. Schultz of Grinnell, Texas.
