Bernard F., beloved husband of Mary R. Kohls (nee Megel), dear father of Sr. Elaine Kohls, M.M., of Ethiopia, Bernadine Wehner of Superior, Wisconsin, Paula J. Wedig of Marietta, Ohio, Rose Gahl, Richard F., John B. and Joseph E. Kohls, all of Cincinnati, dear father-in-law of Pat and Dolly Kohls, Daniel J. Gahl and Daniel Wedig, brother of Walter J. Kohls of Hamilton, Ohio, Esther Schaaf and Lena Sundstrom, both of Cincinnati, also survived by 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Wednesday, November 5, 1986.

Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at St. Mary Church, Hyde Park, Saturday, November 8, at 11 a.m.   Friends may call George H. Rohde and Son Funeral Home, Linwood and Delta Avenues, Mt. Lookout, Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The family requests memorials be directed to Medical Mission Sisters, 8400 Pine Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19111.

Mass for Bernard F. Kohls, 74, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Church, 2853 Erie Avenue, Hyde Park.

Mr. Kohls, of Hyde Park, died Wednesday in Deaconess Hospital.

He owned the East High Park Market on Erie Avenue for 33 years.   He then worked for the Luxembourg Cellars, a Springdale winery.   He was a former board member of the Southern Ohio Food Dealers Association and he was a charter member of the St. Mary Bowling League.

He leaves his wife, Mary; four daughters, Sister Elaine Kohls, a member of the Order of Medical Missions Sisters in Ethiopia, Bernadine Wehner of Superior, Wisconsin, Paula J. Wedig of Marietta, Ohio, Rose Gahl of Cincinnati; three sons, Richard F., John B. and Joseph E. Kohls, all of Cincinnati, 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter J. Kohls of Hamilton, Ohio; and two sisters, Esther Schaaf and Lena Sundstrom, both of Cincinnati.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the George H. Rohde and Son Funeral Home, 3183 Linwood Avenue, Mt. Lookout.
