      Funeral arrangements for Donald French, 53, Seymour FR1, are pending through the Voss Mortuary and will be announced later.

      Mr. French died unexpectedly at 7:30 a.m. today at his home.   He is survived by his widow, the former Bernice Maschino.

      Funeral services for Donald French, better known as Adam French, 53, Seymour R1, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday from St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.

      Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary after 10 a.m. Thursday. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Voss Chapel.

      Mr. French, a 34-year employee and member of the Century Club at Arvin Industries, here, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his home. He had undergone surgery recently.

      A lifelong local resident, Mr. French was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

      Born July 11, 1919, in Seymour, he was the son of the late Leo J. and Clara B. Hill French.

      On September 25, 1938, at Seymour, he married Bernice Maschino who survives.

      In addition to the widow, he is survived by three children, Mrs. David (Clara) Imlay, of Chrisney, Donald W. French, Seymour R1, and Mrs. Mary Campfield; one brother, Lawrence French, of Seymour; four sisters, Mrs. Bernard Gerth, of North Vernon R4, Miss Rosella French, of Seymour, Mrs. Loren Jackson, of Pendleton, and Mrs. John McGuire, of Eaw Gallie, Florida; and six grandchildren.

      One brother preceded him in death.
