Frances Weisel Elsner

Born: January 25, 1862     Died: September 22, 1948

Mrs. Frances Elsner, 86 years old a native of Jennings County, died Wednesday, September 22nd at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Haag at Indianapolis.   Funeral services were held at nine o'clock Saturday morning at St. Joseph's Church at Four Corners with the Reverend Father C. J. Conen offering the Requiem High Mass.   Burial took place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Mrs. Elsner was born at Four Corners January 25, 1862, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weisel.   She was married in September 1890 to John F. Elsner, who survives.   She also is survived by six children: August Elsner, of Flourtown; Pennsylvania, Henry Elsner, of Route 4, North Vernon; Mrs. William Haag, Indianapolis; Mrs. Fred Haettich, Cincinnati, Ohio; Frank Elsner, of Seymour, and John E. Elsner, of Louisville, Kentucky.   She also is survived by 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
