Frances Catherine Haag Schlatterer

Mrs. Frances Catherine Schlatterer, 64, 134 E. Brown Street, Seymour, died suddenly at her home on Friday.

Mrs. Schlatterer was born in North Vernon on May 6, 1918, to William and Elizabeth Elsner Haag.   She married Rudolph F. Schlatterer on September 17, 1949, and he survives.   She was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Kidwell, Seymour, Mrs. Michael (Teresa) Schaefer, Rockport, Elizabeth A. and Jane Schlatterer, at home; one brother, Virgil Haag, Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Urban (Helen) Merkel, and Anna Marie Haag, both of Indianapolis; Sister Rosemary Haag, Denver, Colorado; two granddaughters, Melinda Jo Kidwell and Ann Marie Kidwell, both of Seymour, and one grandson, Marcellus Joseph Schaefer, Rockport.   One son, Joseph, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour by Monsignor Cornelius Sweeney with burial in the Riverview Cemetery.   Voss Funeral Home were in charge of funeral arrangements.
