Henry John Maschino

Born: April 8, 1890     Died: September 30, 1962

Henry Maschino, 72-year-old retired Jennings County farmer, died at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Northalena Vogel, Seymour R1.   He was rushed to Schneck Memorial Hospital here, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.   He had been in failing health for 14 years.

Mr. Maschino, who resided on Seymour R2, was a native and life-long resident of Jennings County.   He was born April 8, 1890, the son of the late Adam and Anna Speckner Maschino.   In April 21, 1920, he married Lora Banks who survives.

He was a member of the Leslie-Arbuckle-Zimmerman Post No. 1925, Veterans of Foreign Wars, here and the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Four Corners.

Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Survivors, in addition to the widow and daughter, at whose home he died, are one other daughter, Mrs. Bernice French, of Seymour R1; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Ressler, of Cincinnati, Mrs. Dora Butler, of Seymour, and Frs. Florence Osterhage, Dayton, Kentucky, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the St. Ambrose Catholic Church here.   Burial in Riverview Cemetery following military rites conducted by VFW Post No. 1925.

Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary after 7 p.m. tonight.   Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
