Helene Virginia Murphy Hauersperger

Mrs. Walter (Helene Murphy) Hauersperger, 61, of 603 North McKinley Avenue, Champaign, an accounting firm secretary, died late Monday (October 20, 1975) at home.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Church, with Father B. A. Render officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Owens Chapel. Wake services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hauersperger was born January 3, 1914 at Fairmount, a daughter of Roy and Maude McNichols Murphy. She was married on March 25, 1965 in Champaign.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Bruce Becker, Champaign, by a previous marriage; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lois Orr, Port Charlotte, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had been a secretary for about eight years at Winakor and Myers, a Champaign CPA firm.
