He was a former employee of the old Wadsworth Watch Case Company and later of the Elgin Watch Company of Dayton and formerly lived in that city for 60 years.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Florence Osterhage; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Anne Beyer, with whom he lived; a son, Joseph Osterhage, Jr., Dayton; three brothers, Urban Osterhage, Park Hills, Robert Osterhage, Delhi Hills, and Bernard Osterhage, Dayton; four sisters, Mrs. Freda LeSaint, Dayton, Mrs. Mary Louise Kriege and Mrs. Irene Ziegler, both of Bellevue, Mrs. Bess Wohlfrom, Cincinnati, and eight grandchildren.
Requiem High Mass will be sung at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Bernard Church, Dayton. Friends may visit the Muehlenkamp Funeral Home, Dayton, Monday from 3 to 9 p.m.
