Lola Mae Carr Kain

Mrs. Lola Carr Kain, 97, of Seymour died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chauncey Davis, at Bloomington following a one-month illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Voss Chapel, Seymour, by Dr. Stewart Silver, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Seymour.   Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Born in Jennings County August 22, 1878, Mrs. Kain had lived most of her life in Jackson County.   Her parents were William and Rebecca Winkler Carr.   She was married to Alex H. Kain in January 1899.   He died November 14, 1930.   She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seymour and a retired beautician.

Surviving with her daughter, Annice Davis, Bloomington, are a son Otto Kain, Seymour; three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.   A son, Willard, a brother, a sister and a grandchild preceded her in death.
