Lillian Ruth McKain Nichter

Lillian Ruth Nichter, 84, of Seymour died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 1994, at Jackson County Schneck Memorial Hospital, Seymour, after being in ill health for five years.

Mrs. Nichter was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene faith.

Born July 16, 1910, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Otis and Clara McKain.   On June 15, 1935, in Jackson County, she married Willard Nichter, and he died in November, 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Donna) Otte, Seymour; a sister, Mary Schwein, Seymour; three grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a grandson, two brothers and a sister.

The Reverend Don Ratliff will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.   Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
