Nicholas Megel, fifty-nine years old, died at this home in the Four Corners neighborhood, Thursday morning, October 21st.   Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Church at Four Corners at nine o'clock Monday morning, conducted by the Reverend Father Raymond Marchino.   The burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Megel spent his life in the Four Corners community where he engaged in farming.   He was held in high esteem in his home community and throughout the county.   His wife died ten years ago.   He is survived by seven children: John Megel and Victoria Megel, at home; Mrs. Mary Kohl and Mrs. Anna Heuerman of Cincinnati; Miss Rosena Megel, of Osgood; Miss Agnes Megel, of Evansville; and Laura who is a nun, living at present at Techney, Illinois.
