He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour, and worked in the farm machinery industry in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He was a veteran of World War II and received a European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with three Bronze Stars. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, Seymour.
Born March 3, 1916, in Jennings County, he was a son of Frank and Mary Vogel Maschino. He had been a resident of Jackson County since 1986, moving from Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Survivors include a daughter, Kerri Dykes, Arkansas; a stepson, Jerry Maschino, Morehead, Kentucky; two brothers, Marvin Maschino, Oklahoma; and Joseph Maschino, Texas; and seven sisters, Mildred Thomas, Helen Thoele, Dolores Maschino, Dorothy Hess and Loretta Henkle, all of Seymour; Angela Hill, Tempe, Arizona; and Mary Jean Kvaal, St. Paul, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Maschino, and a sister, Leona Marie Brylinski.
The Reverend Joseph Sheets will conduct services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour, or to the donor's choice.
