Philip Walter Hauersperger

Philip W. Hauersperger, 35, of rural Thomasboro, died about 2:30 p.m. Thursday (December 15, 1977) at home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Thomasboro, with the Reverend Harold Mooney officiating.   Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Owens Chapel.   The rosary will be recited at 9 p.m.

Mr. Hauersperger was born December 7, 1942, in Urbana, a son of Walter and Katherine Lorraine Axley Hauersperger.

Survivors include a brother, Ralph of Thomasboro; and three sisters, Barbara DuRose of Vernon, New York, Regina Robinson of Morton and Ann Gaines of Champaign.

He was a printer for Kowa Graphics, Champaign and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.   He attended Holy Cross grade school and Champaign High School and founded the P. T. I. printing company, Danville.   Mr. Hauersperger was the evening manager for the Illini Inn for many years.
