Mrs. Elsner was a homemaker and had worked at Gerwin Shoe Factory and Graessle-Mercer Company in Seymour.   She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour and Daughters of Isabella.

She was born July 27, 1904, in Daviess County to William and Matilda Brewer.   She lived most of her life in Jackson County.   She married Frank Elsner on February 14, 1928, at Four Corners in Jennings County.   He died February 1, 1986.

Mrs. Elsner is survived by two sons, Francis J. Elsner and Leonard J. Elsner, both of Seymour; two sisters, Helen Bowling of Seymour and Mrs. William (Anne) Kidwell of Montgomery; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers and a grandson.

The Reverend Joseph Sheets will conduct the funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour.   Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Four Corners.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel in Seymour from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday.   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.   Memorials may be made to the mass.
