Funeral mass was at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Four Corners, at 10 a.m. Saturday with burial in the church cemetery.   The rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at the Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove.

Miss Megel was born in Jennings County August 17, 1910, daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Gerth Megel.   She had been a housekeeper for the Rev. Carl Busald for 60 years, retiring in 1987.   She was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church, the Altar Society at Holy Name and St. Vincent DePaul.

She is survived by one brother, John Megel of North Vernon; and four sisters, Sister Laura Megel, S.SP.S, of Illinois, Mary Kohls, Anna Heuerman and Victoria Winter of Ohio.
