Services for William 'Bill' Wood, 72, of 1114 North Madison, who died Saturday afternoon at Bloomington Hospital, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Greene and Harrell Mortuary.   Entombment will be in Valhalla Mausoleum.

Born September 7, 1914, in Monroe County, he was the son of William and Mary Ellen Wood.   He was retired from WTTS and was an amateur radio operator.   He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and Moose Lodge.   He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha Wood; one son, William R. Wood of Bloomington; one daughter, Jane Spires of Bloomington; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family suggests those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Bloomington Hospital Heart Catheterization Unit.
